Older Adults

General Practitioners are usually the first health professional to see a woman who thinks or knows she is pregnant. Telethon Kids Institute has created an online version of the Audit-C Learning Guide and other resources for health professionals who have early contact with pregnant women. Community pharmacist online training

The Pharmaceutical Society of Western Australia (PSA) has created an online AOD training package for community pharmacists. However, you do not need to be a pharmacist or a PSA member to access.
  1. Go to the PSA website https://www.psa.org.au/
  2. Click on Login/Register
  3. Click on Create an Account
  4. Click on CPD
  5. Click on CPD catalogue
  6. Select a Topic – click on Addiction and substance abuse
  7. After you click on Addiction and substance abuse courses will come up under blue boxes. Find Alcohol and other drug training for pharmacists – online module.
  8. Open the module and click on Enrol Now
  9. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Launch
