HealthDirect Video Call

WA Primary Health Alliance has partnered with Healthdirect Australia to support healthcare providers in Western Australia to deliver video consulting capability in a bid to help contain the rapid spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

What is Healthdirect Video Call and how does it work?

The Healthdirect Video Call platform provides a single, consistent entry point on the health service's website for all patients.

From here, patients enter an online waiting area for their appointment, reducing the need for administrative staff to generate a separate link, code or dial-in information for each patient.

Our staff have been trained to remotely assist healthcare providers to connect with and utilise the HealthDirect Video Call platform.

Is access to the HealthDirect Video Call system free?
Yes. The platform is fully funded for all General Practices and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations through to the 31st December 2021.
